CSR21 to be at 6th Annual Responsible Extractives Summit 2015

Thursday, 7 May, 2015

Just a quick note to flag up an imminent event in London that we think might be of interest – we’ll be there, certainly, doing our usual coverage and live-Tweeting the very daylights out of it: The 6th Annual Responsible Extractives Summit 2015 takes place at the Hilton Tower Bridge in London on 29-30 June.

In the words of their own PR, The Responsible Extractives Summit 2015 “will focus on how to generate active support for your projects at current commodity prices… This will be an interactive & practical conference that provides an honest and private forum for senior corporate responsibility executives from Oil, Gas & Mining, to discuss future trends, challenges and opportunities.”

The likes of Anglo American, GoldCorp, Shell and StatOil will debate:

•    Social responsibility and Finance in a low commodity price environment
•    Building Local Capacity and increasing local content
•    How to take a catchment wide approach to your water management strategy
•    How to respect human rights internally, within your supply chain and among the wider community
